Selina Hotel Chain Opens New Locations in Costa Rica

The chain has invested an average $700,000.00 on each of its properties which has generated more than 250 direct jobs and a similar number of indirect jobs, according to information by daily paper El Financiero. The brand offers a range of services geared mostly to millennials, which include yoga classes, artistic co-working spaces, among others. The hotel also offers their clients the possibility to take part in social community programs.
Camilo Quiroga, communication manager for Selina, confirmed the brand wants to offer 250 beds in each of their hotels with prices that range from $12 to $200.00 ; “For the owners, Costa Rica is a paradisaical destination, in which it is easy to develop and share its pillars of sustainability, creativity, community, aside from being one of the preferred touristic destinations worldwide due to its ecological and cultural appeal.” The chain operates four hotels in Panama and two in Colombia.
